So after a long drought in postings I'm back. We're getting ready for the holidays and I am finding that the problem is not buying gifts for everyone; rather it's the other things I buy for myself while shopping for others that is breaking the bank. Only around the holidays do you think it’s ok to spending many, many, many dollars on things that you never would. Examples……..$10 boxes of cookies, $2000 televisions, $7 yards of beef, $3000 dining room tables you know the usuals.
Anyway, I guess it all balances out when the credit card statement comes in January and you are forced to eat top raman and hotdogs for the rest of the winter. It just wouldn’t feel like the holidays if my wallet wasn’t empty!
So, happy holidays to everyone and hope the new year brings you joy and a balanced check book!
