I’m bored. Work is very slow right now. I keep looking at the clock and it never gets any later. It’s one of those days, where I have a ton to do, but I just can’t motivate. Anyone ever have days like that?
So Barb talked me into doing a Triathalon 2 weeks after we get back from our honeymoon……what was I thinking giving into that? We all know Barb is exercise crazy, but I’m not. Give me a remote and a bag of Doritos and I’m happy. Why would I think I can recover from eating 3000+ calories a day on the honeymoon to running, swimming and biking in a couple weeks? I plan on gaining all the weight I lost for the wedding back on in a week on the honeymoon. Maybe I can just wait at the end of the race and cheer Barb on at the finish with my beer in one hand and my fried cheesestick in the other.
A blog full of witty, interesting and intelligent banter.....nah just something to waste 5 minutes on.

It Cold Here
This winter has sucked in Denver. A little known fact about the Mile High City is that during the winter, we never have snow that stays on the ground all winter. When it snows, it usually all melts within a couple days. This winter we have had about on blizzard every week since the 3rd week of December. With the exception of last week and the week before, the temperatures have been below freezing almost every day. As a result until last week, we haven’t seen the pavement in our neighborhood since before Christmas! I admit we’re spoiled here in Denver, but I am used to being able to run, bike, hike, etc all winter long. We have been cooped up in the house for so long that I have now started watching terrible, terrible tv (American Idol, The Hills). I swear Barb is about to start running around in circles in the living room.
Anyway, no point to this entry really, just a little rant. Cheers to Global Warming and Al Gore.
