A Shitter for the Ages Part 1

This post is way over due, so I am finally writing it today. As mentioned previously, I took on my first remodel project! I have an old house with an old bathroom in the basement. It is tiny, about 7x6, and looks like a bathroom from a room at the Bates Motel. I moved in to my house over 2 years ago and have wanted to do this for awhile, and finally took it on this fall.

Below are some shots from the bathroom as it was before I took on the remodel. As you can see it is terrible. From the ugly tiles to the prison style lighting to the jerry-rigged cabinet, it was awful.

In my next entry I will describe what I did with pictures taken along the way. For now, enjoy this lovely ode to 1950's construction :)
